Pixel 3a

I have had the pixel 3a for almost 2 weeks now, and I am loving it. The phone is $399 or $299 at Best buy with an activation on one of the major cell phone networks. It comes with 4gb of RAM and 64gb of storage.

Now, I know that other people who looked at this phone say it’s not worth it but, for those who that can’t spend close to $1000 for a phone will like this.

First thing that it impressed me, was the battery life. From the time I wake up till it is the about time I am ready to go back to bed; I don’t have to charge it. I can do web browsing, streaming, email, and listen to music all day on one charge. Not many phones that I have owned, have been able to last all day. Even the phones that stated they had an all day battery.

Next thing I like is the performance. Many people talk about how Google phone lag or freeze. Well, so far after almost 2 weeks later it is still running like the first day I bought it. It also handles multitasking very well. I have been able to listen you YouTube and going through my email without any hiccups. Gaming has been good too. I have played the new version of Asphalt driving game. I have played it for at least a half hour at a time and it works fine. It would probably be able to play it all day if you wanted too, but I just am not a big gamer.

Last thing is the camera. I like the quality pictures that it produces. I also love the nightmode feature. It makes what you are taking picture of look like you took it during the day. Taking videos is ok. It doesn’t pick up the sound the best, but it is clear enough to make out sounds.

The call quality is also pretty, good. When calling with speaker phone on, you can hear the person loud and clear as if they are right there. Typing on the keyboard is also good. Most of the time it taps on the letter you wanted. Highlight is easier using the keyboard. If you swipe left on the backspace it will highlight a word or a line. Then if you want to move you cursor just move left or right on the spacebar.

Overall, this is a quality phone for the price. If you are looking for a great, reliable phone; then this is the phone you should look into.
